NCO's of the Year Experience Pure Strait
The NCO’s of 2006 and Family members had a fun-filled musical evening when they were treated to country music superstar, George Strait ’s, concert. Ronnie Milsap and newcomer, Taylor Swift also gave command performances. Our chapter contacted the Erv Woolsey agency and they were kind enough to honor these servicemembers with tickets to the Feb 22 concert in Las Cruces . Mr. Strait was a former Army Veteran. Special thanks to those who helped it come to fruition including NMSU Events Coordinator (R), Barbara Hubbard. One of the recipients, Y1 Charles Dirks was particularly enthusiastic about the opportunity to attend the concert. When Charles and his wife were married, they had George Strait music at their wedding. The concert brought up special memories for them and was a wonderful Valentine’s Day treat.
