Chapter leadership presents 240 Certificates of Appreciation
On 14 Jun 2010, during a General Membership Meeting at the Virginia Veterans Care Center in Salem, Virginia, your Chapter leaders presented nearly 240 Certificates of Appreciation to the residents of the facility. The Certificates were signed by GEN(R) Sullivan, AUSA president, and LTC(R) Matney, Chapter president. During the celebration members and residents enjoyed Flag Day and Army Birthday cakes. VVCC residents Lasco McClain assisted in cutting the Association cake and Ernie Shelley assisted in the cutting of the flag day cake. Additionally, resident Patrick Robertson sang "America The Beautiful".
