WELCOME to the Columbia River Chapter of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) website.  Our goal is to be the premier voice for support of America’s Army - Active, National Guard, Reserve, Civilians, Retirees and Families from throughout the State of Oregon and southern Washington. We are dedicated to serving the entire AUSA family through a variety of activities, programs and projects.

The Columbia River Chapter is one of approximately 130 chapters located throughout the world. We are proud to be the voice of the Soldier. Our patriotic volunteers contribute many hours of service in support of Soldiers and their families.

AUSA is a private, non-profit organization that has been the public voice for all components of America’s Army, fostering public support of the Army's role in national security and in providing professional education and information programs. AUSA advocates for issues such as defense spending, pay increases for military and federal employees, health care and retirement benefits.

Your involvement is important to support our deployed Soldiers and their families. There are many issues that impact our AUSA family and it is important that our voice is heard in the hallways of the Capitol in Washington D. C. You can make a difference!

Membership is open to any Soldier, business or organization with a desire to support the men and women who proudly serve our country and preserve our freedom. We invite you to join us in our efforts to support our troops.

Please feel free to contact BG (Ret) Norm Hoffman, Columbia River Chapter President, or myself if we can be of service or answer any questions.
